Forest Hill Manor is owned and operated by California-Nevada Methodist Homes and was incorporated in 1954 as a non-denominational retirement community. It is a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and Aging Services of California (ASC). It is fully accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission which means that the community has met or exceeded the high standards for excellence in services, programs, financial stability, facilities and health care as agreed upon by AAHSA members. While the total membership of AASHA exceeds 5,600 retirement communities nationwide, only about 300 of the members are fully accredited Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) which places Forest Hill Manor among the very best retirement communities in the country.
